Last Call Testo

Testo Last Call

Walking through the streets with empty pockets and a cough to go along
With a blurred point of view
I'm passing churches on my left
Along my path I find every inch of this sidewalk inconveniently dead on
As my steps repeat again and again
So I make my way back home, have no need for a stereo
I'll just listen to a full moon tapping along with my shoes
Every time I look up I see the same old light posts
They cover me whole and I'm on top of my own world
Will I be just like you when half the coast wakes up?
This light is not all right but it keeps me safe
I'm spending all my money on cheap alcohol to forget that night
Some day I will get over it and I know I will be all right
These same old songs keep playing on
This is the last call for us and we will be all right
