- When I Die
Testo When I Die
A little rough around the edges for a living chops wood
A little misheard a little misunderstood
So how do you tell the bad from the good
Is it what you learn along the way or do what others would
Where we go from here, I’m not quite sure
But be damned if I’m stuck scrubbing the kitchen floor
Just to fall on my own plastic sword
All I know is I’ve got to give it what for
When I die
I’m gunna shoot my ashes into the sky
Cheer as you watch them fly
Across the valley into that golden light
So please don’t cry
Because I
I lived a good life
So if you rock up to the church on the very last day
And expect to get straight through the pearly gates
Maybe it’s all just a little, a little too late
Better stick to your guns and choose your own fate
When I die
I’m gunna shoot my ashes into the sky
Cheer as you watch them fly
Across the valley into that golden light
So please don’t cry
Because I
I lived a good life
A little misheard a little misunderstood
So how do you tell the bad from the good
Is it what you learn along the way or do what others would
Where we go from here, I’m not quite sure
But be damned if I’m stuck scrubbing the kitchen floor
Just to fall on my own plastic sword
All I know is I’ve got to give it what for
When I die
I’m gunna shoot my ashes into the sky
Cheer as you watch them fly
Across the valley into that golden light
So please don’t cry
Because I
I lived a good life
So if you rock up to the church on the very last day
And expect to get straight through the pearly gates
Maybe it’s all just a little, a little too late
Better stick to your guns and choose your own fate
When I die
I’m gunna shoot my ashes into the sky
Cheer as you watch them fly
Across the valley into that golden light
So please don’t cry
Because I
I lived a good life
