I have a new sense of purpose
with each new passing day
But I really just can't keep focus,
cause life just gets in the way
I guess I should act my age,
get a job and forget about the days
When money wasn't an issue
and we always turned out okay
But I'm still the same old kid
the same ideas in my fucked up head Don't wait for me to change,
cause I'll always let you down
I keep thinking about what
I could and should have been
So does my life mean nothing
and what do I have left to gain
The endless summer,
is fucking over
