There we lay in a golden field,
Our bodies open to the sun.
Strange birds circled overhead
And I see black skies around you.

In the desert there's a ghostly wind
pulling sand from the dunes.
There will be no eastern star tonight.

I put my faith in that photograph -
The only proof I'd seen the light.
I knelt down by the riverbank
And let it float into the twilight.
